Friday Jan. 21st Ska legends The Toasters hit The Muse on their 30th anniversary tour. AKA Rudie, the Beat Officers and possibly Stuck Lucky will be opening. More details and a flier to come.

The commonwealth was added to the show on Dec. 12th at the street dogs show.

See, that's a lack of communication. He told me that he had talked to Stuck Lucky about playing but didn't have an answer yet and I told him I'd get the rest of the bands to help him out. Even after, when i told him we had AKA Rudie and Beat Officers, he never mentioned you guys. Just kept pushing the Stuck Lucky thing.

No doubt. I tried to tell him we only needed 2 locals on the bill. the Toasters will draw who they are gonna draw with or without locals. No need having people sit through three or four bands to see them.

I never understood the whole "hey! let's throw 7 bands on a show!" thing The Muse does.... None the less... it will be a good show.

Oh I know. This has been an issue every time we've ever played there. I can understand with a bunch of locals, but like Mike said; the Toasters are going to pull who they're gonna pull. Oi vey!

I'm setting up an event for it. How much is admission and what time is everything going down?

Let me call Logan this afternoon and find out. I've been busy and am a little behind on this. Doors will open at 7:00. that much I know.

OK, I talked to Logan today and he says that he didn't tell the Commonwealth that they were on the bill for this show. He said that because they didn't sell any tickets for the Street Dogs show after promising to that they weren't gonna be on a bigger show for a while. Not trying to stir up shit, just repeating what I was told. He says he loves you guys, but that someone got their messages crossed. So, in Logan's words, they aren't on this bill. Stuck Lucky may be, but if they can't play, then it will only be 3 bands on the bill. Thank you and good night. This has been a public service announcement.

It's ridiculous being jerked around like that man. We got booked for a show that didn't exist there, and didn't find out till the day of. All miscommunication. I checked out and really dig your band, hope to make it to one of your shows.

I'll probably go to this. I haven't listen to ska in awhile........or been to the muse in awhile. Is it me or is the muse not having all the good shows like it used to? Or are they and not promoting it anymore?

I just realized that there's an upside down pot leaf between the horns. hahaha

Good shows, just little promo. And anyone from Beat Officers that can swing by the Muse and pick up tickets to sell would be appreciated. Logan is really pushing this pre sale ticket thing.
