Flooding, how is everyone?
So how is everyone? Like I said in the Flood Benefit thread, we had about 4 inches of water in the basement that we had to keep pushing out so it didn't just keep getting deeper. This morning everything is coming out and put in the sun and the dehumidifier is working over time.
Re: Flooding, how is everyone?
I hope all of good friends down here receive no permanent damage, injury, or expensive clean ups. Like I said in the Flood relief thread, no real flooding in Kentucky, but tornados leveled good portions of houses. So I am feeling your pain. I, fortunately, lucked out, It went like five miles away from my house, and pretty narrowly missed the small town I live in. Some of my friends who live in the rural county werent so lucky. But I wish every one the best, and let me know if I can help at all.

We got pretty lucky and just took a tiny bit of water in the basement. Unfortunately it's in finished areas so we're going to have to get some dehu's running once we can leave our area. I can't get more than a mile away from the house at the moment. My in-laws had a LOT of damage at their place though. This is all pretty crazy.

I am fine but my grandmothers house in River Plantation is completely destroyed.

I'm still waiting for my insurance company to get in touch with me. I called them on Sunday and was told I would receive a call soon......
I don't think they are going to cover my fence or shed. I looked over what flood insurance covers and they will cover the damage done to my crawl space and ducts and stuff but my shed is completely fucked along with all off it contents. My cedar fence is destroyed.

Re: Flooding, how is everyone?
and what a pretty fence it looks to have been =(
we came out alright. we were on a marriage retreat in franklin.. the mall decided not to warn anyone of the flooding till the water was up to our waists and they told us not to leave. for us that set an alarm off that we had to leave immediately, so held my purse over my head and we swam outta there. there was no way i was gonna pass up bein stuck in embassy suites for bein stuck in the mall. gag.
came home to hopkinsville to a mildly flooded basement, but thats it. so the flood was more of an adventure than anything.
did the muse flood?

Re: Flooding, how is everyone?
Nope. the Muse is fine. So no shows have been canceled and Nash Bash will go as planned.
Re: Flooding, how is everyone?
We played at the Muse the Wednesday after the flood. It was still open... but I blame no one being there on the flood and not us.
