The Pubcrawlers - coming from out of state and looking for a show

Hey all - I apologize if this is the wrong forum.

My band The Pubcrawlers is putting together a week-long mini-tour around St. Paddy's Day in March and as of right now we've got Friday, 3/19 blocked off for a Nashville stop. I'm making the rounds, looking for good venues to play and good bands to play with, and I'm wondering if anyone here can make some suggestions and/or find a show for us to hop on.

I've actually heard you guys on your myspace before and I think that if we put you guys with Hillbilly Casino and one other band in the right venue, it would be badass.

Geoff Firebough, the bass player for Hillbilly Casino posts on here. So maybe he'd like to set it up if they are interested. I do know that when they play here with Flatfoot 56, its always a packed house.

That would be awesome - I'll try to get in touch with him through Myspace also, just in case. We played this past March w/Flatfoot at ShamrockFest in DC... it was a blast. Those guys are great. Anyway, thanks again for the info man - look forward to getting it set up.

So The Pubcrawlers are confirmed at The Basement on Friday, March 19th. We can fill a good 3 hours if we have to but would much rather have another band or two to share the bill with us, so please let us know if anyone is available.

Hey Andy, sorry I dropped the ball on this. We were putting our showroom together and I also had some legal problems that were taking up a lot of my time. I'll definitely be at the show though.

No worries at all man, I know you had a mountain of shit going on and the timing was just really bad on our part. Looking forward to meeting you though, and hopefully you can round up a decent sized posse for us!

If our lead guitar player is in town that weekend, we might be able to do it. I'll call him and find out if we can make it happen.

I've talked to everyone except our rhythm guitar player. So far its a go. I'll let ya know as soon as possible. I might also have a band from Atlanta that was wanting to come up around the same time. I can't remember what date they wanted though.

Hey Mike, it looks like I owe you an apology. I was under the impression that the Basement show was ours entirely and it was up to me to fill it out, but I just heard from the booker over there and apparently that wasn't the case at all - I wasn't aware of it, but they were adding us to an existing bill that was already set up for the night, another band called the Altered Statesmen, I guess. I told the guy that I had misunderstood and that I really wanted to have you guys on the bill as well, but he said that they couldn't do it since it wasn't our night to begin with. Really sorry about that man - hope no one canceled any plans or anything. Anyway, I hope you can all still make it...
