Bass player available.

I'm a bass player that is wanting to get something going or join something. I used to play for Destroy by Design a while back and haven't played with anyone since leaving. I'm looking to play some good ole' punk rock but I'll do metal if it is good. I'm not looking for fame but just to have some fun and play. Hit me up if you know anyone looking or want to start something. Thanks to Mike for pointing me to the site.

Yeah. I remember the Grims. You all were a hell of a band. I was happy as hell to have you all play Undergroundfest. I wish I had remained sober to remember it all. haha.

wanna set up a time to jam? i have gear and can play guitar bass and drums. i figured we could play and see what happens. i am not officially playing with anybody as of saturday, so we should try to start something. what do you classify as good metal? can you do vocals?

I can do backups but don't want to mess with main vocals. I sang and played guitar in a punk band years ago and I never thought I was any good at the vocal part.

Good metal... hrmm... I like a lot of stuff. I've always loved White Zombie. I dug Pantera and Down. Devil Driver is good stuff. Slayer. Local guys War Within and Mindset Defect are good bands (and good guys). Tomahawk, Fantomas, FNM, Mr. Bungle (most of the Mike Patton projects). However I would rather do some punk, again. I'm kind of burnt out playing metal.

I'm down with jamming. Let me know when a good time would be.

and yeah... I'm a big bald guy. haha. I know I have met Chris in the past but don't know about Jason. lol

how about sunday at 4pm? do you drink? i think if anyone else on here wants to come by and jam it would be cool so hollar at me. i know alot of folks are bandless right now so maybe the next big thing will happen.

i know the guitar player from war within, i was actually gonna try and play bass for them for a minute, but greg wanted to tour so he needed someone who could drop everything and go, but i couldn't do that.

i dont really mind any of those bands. devil driver is pretty cool. of course slayer. i like pantera, but i dont care for down. old mike patton. good times. now i'm mad i sold my v.

Greg is a good friend of mine and I was also asked to try out but I had the same issue! haha. I actually was their bass back up for them briefly while I was in DBD and we shared the same rehearsal space.

I do drink but not so much anymore. I get up at 5am for work so I don't do much drinking on the weekdays. I prefer the "greener" variety but still love beer.

Invite as many people as you want! The more, the merrier! I'm just wanting to play again and it be fun and not overly serious.

Jamie, sorry I've been crazy busy lately. If you were up to it and would consider it again *puppy eyes* you could come out tonight and do the ska thing. I guess our drum problem became our bass problem.
