I ordered tickets. 20 bucks a piece on paypal...no convenience charge. The place is big...but not that big. I doubt it will sell out though.

I don't care what lame line-up the Misfits are these day...I'll go see them. I think it's going to be a pretty wild time.

we had a great fucking crowd for us even at 8pm ..

although ther Misfits (at least Jerry and Dez) seemed to be on some sort of uppers .. everything was super fucking fast and you couldnt understand some of the lyrics he was trying to spit out at that speed .. I will say we couldnt hear shit on stage, so maybe they had some issues too ..

but all in all, it was a great time

Yeah..I had a great time! I got a lot of video of Fist! I heard from a freind who saw the Misfits a year or so ago that all their songs were sped the fuck up. That was ok with me, and it may have been that they couldn't hear worth a fuck on stage, but a couple of times it sound like the drummer was going faster than the others. It was still a good show..I don't care what anyone says. The pit was fun. I got home and felt like I had been beaten up and I haven't felt like that in a while.

all i can say is wow...that was such a weird night....fist was fucking awesome despite the weird sound issues...the middle band was a little too slipknot for me....and the misfits were definitely on some crazy shit...just imagine regular recognizable sing along misfits sings and multiply the speed by two....and play every instrument off time and at different speeds....except for hybrid moments and saturday night....maybe it was just the shitty sound job someboody did but the gay ass radio metal bandsounded fine...although it was fun to watch it was kinda annoying although if i had a fuckin legendary band that i was trying to ressurect aaagainnn and had been playing those same songs for thirty years i would try to change it up a little too but damn.....gotta make livin

i wish i had a danzig shirt or something i could have gotten jerry only to sign....i still like the misfits and all but im never gonna pay 20 bucks to see that again

they played their old songs fast as hell when i saw them with graves too.

if you listen to the bootlegs from the danzig era, the songs were fast as hell too.

For those of you who missed it, the classic era songs really were, on balance, played too fucking fast, even in light of the classic era live recordings. And, honestly, worse than just being too fast, they were godawful out of time half the time. But I went into the whole experience bearing in mind that people pay $20+ to see comedy acts all the time (I never have, but I think they do, don't they?). I think Jerry Only should be renamed Jerry Hammer-on due to his apparent fondness for Kip Winger-esque one handed playing so he can gesticulate grandly with his picking hand. And the Jealous Again cover? I don't even know where to begin. I don't know that I'd do it again, but I don't consider that I got less than I expected... except that I always take the wrong exit when I go to Murfreesboro and consequently only got to see about half of Fist's set.
