What bands do you want to see play in Nashville?

I figure there are a few bookers on here, so list the bands you'd like to see play or return to Nashville and maybe we'll get lucky.

the violent femmes (I read that they'll play if they can get paid, but I'm guessing they'd want a big check)

The Icarus Line
The Spits but I'm incredibly happy to say that's already happening.

I have played with the Queers, they put on a good show, alot of fun.

kitty daisy and lewis (badass rockabilly from england) This also sounded good.

blitzkid -I have seen the too, great live show.
streetlight manifesto - They really are the most technically talented ska band I have ever seen. Saw them at Warped.

social distortion - This would be REALLY awesome, hard to do, but AWESOME!

I didnt know the Violent Femmes were still together. I am a HUGE Femmes fan, I have been listening to them all my mortal life. If you book this show, PLEASE Consider Uncle Skunkle for playing it as an opener. I am not above begging for this. The "Add It Up" Album is in the life changing albums category for me.

I booked these guys last year or maybe even 08', but noone came out .. so I wouldnt think they would be in a hurry to come back

The femmes aren't together anymore, but they'll get together if someone will book them. Or that's what I read at least.


I was at the flatliners show, but I only got to see like two songs because they had to play early. Wasn't the show on a weekday or something? Maybe that's why no one showed.

i really want to see restarts. and global threat. and the fixtures. and violent society. and two man advantage.

Violent Femmes played Nashville in 2004 and it was a good show despite the fact that my wife and I were the only people there who weren't douches.

Was that at the Dancin in the District thing or whatever they called it? Cause I was at one of those that they played.

i'll third The Restarts. and as far as A Global Threat is concerned, they put on a badass show. i would definitely like to see em again.

would also love to see The Adicts for like the fifth time... that shit never gets old. and always a huge turnout no matter the city.

Wanna see the Specials here. And English Beat(this might be doable. I might have a connection.) Dropkick Murhpy's always put on a hell of a show. Just no place big enough to put 'em right now. And I don't have that kind of backing money. Cro Mags. Probably won't happen but they are playing Atlanta May 13th. Blood For Blood would be nice but they haven't played in so long I doubt that would happen.

Mad Sin would be pretty wicked. I would still like to see a good surf band like Diakiju(sp?). I missed it the first time, but would like to see Surfer Blood and Turbo Fruits(I think they are from Nashville.) Also Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, Just kidding, wouldnt that be aweful.

I'd be stoked to see English Beat or DKM (ha). And I'd definitely come out for Blood for Blood as well.
