Sweep picking

Any pointers? Have not messed with this stuff in a decade of so. Any exercises you fellow guitar destroyers are using? I guess I have hit a wall and need your help.

the hardest part about sweep picking, for me at least, is your left hand. you have to find a chord that works and just drag the pick down and up. some folks will do two chords in one stroke or one for the way down and a different on the way up. or add some single note flair, but other than that the right hand just drags the pick across the strings.
