This CD totally sucks (rocks!). I never (always) listen to it.. KD and bands you did a shitty (outstanding) job!!

I really wish we had had time to go back into the studio. that track we have on there came from the recording session from hell, and is nowhere near our best.

I actually dig that recording

We had to cut the intro off because the dude recording it couldn't synch everything up and it sounded like shit. He had about 20,000 bucks worth of recording gear, ProTools and no talk back mic. It was a fuckin nightmare. He didn't even know how to punch someone in to fix a mistake. He'd make ya play the whole song over.

ha, the talk back mic is the line between pro studio and "dood in his mom's garage"..
Punch is two buttons and highlite swipe in ProTools..

This was some guy that Spooks worked with at Guitar Center, and he had turned one room downstairs into the mixing room, and the whole upstairs was where everything else was set up. We had Daniel running up and down the stairs to relay messages. He also had Ian trying to play the intros through a little 15 watt amp that comes with the Strat packs. It sounded like static through the headphones. No click track or anything. I'm surprised we got anything decent out of it. but then again, ya get what ya don't pay for. $150 and buying the food to go on the grill while we were there is what got us those glorious tracks.

Ive had this CD in our van for weeks now .. and Ive heard all the songs dozens of time while putting it together ..

It fucking kicks ass!

I totally agree that the cd as a whole is really good. I enjoy the fuck out of it. I'm just not happy with our recording.
