Hmm, perhaps unsurprisingly, I'm liking this stuff. More and more. But what--duo? Y'all aren't "real" enough to play shows? Bummer.

EDIT: I haven't seen the myspace yet (at work) so I could be wrong about the not playing shows part.

Also, anybody who likes this stuff should check out The Marked Men, of whom I am strongly reminded when listening to Parasite Diet.

I have seen Parasite Diet play maybe 40 or 50 times in my life. They play pretty often around Paducah, sometimes as a duo, sometimes with a fill in Bass player. There is no set bass player, but they usually have a sit in. Their live show is fun as shit. Candy throwing, infectious happiness at its best. Literally one of my favorite pop-punk bands ever, but I am a little biased, These guys are two of my best friends.

Obvious question: are you one of their sit-in bass players, Jack?

Actually, I have never sat in for Parasite Diet, even though, I know alot of their songs. We have discussed doing a Parasite Diet/Skunkle tour and me and Ethan filling in on Bass during the tour. It would be bad ass, if you havent gathered, Corey (The technicolor Kid) is the drummer for Skunkle as well.

I hadn't gathered. But I seriously want Elevens Up and Parasite Diet in particular to play a show together. I'm totally looking forward to playing shows with Skunkle too, don't get me wrong, but Elevens Up and Parasite Diet is like a match made in pop punk heaven.

Totally Understand, no offense taken, Parasite Diet is so awesome, and I promote them almost as much as I promote Skunkle. We are almost a package deal, ish.

All right, fuck... I've got to ask: who did the engineering/production on the S/T Parasite Diet album? It sounds fucking excellent.

They are. They did the whole thing in Corey's apartment.
