Ska in East Nashville. (Feb 19th w\a.k.a)

Bringing Ska to East Nashville. On the 19th a.k.a Rudie is playing at the French Quarter around 9:30. Its free and there is a ton of new music to be heard. A couple trad covers…a couple skinhead reggae sounds…a couple blue beat sounds and a ton of traditional sounds. Come get a preview of what has been going down in the studio.

Should be fun. If you dont come by, we are arm wrastlin'. I am pretty excited about the new stuff. Nashville needs a jolt of some fresh back beats.

It is a restaurant/live music place they mainly have songwriters for the most part,but it is a cool place withe great sound and good food!

Have they got PBR at the French Quarter?

I gotta say, the Rudie boys tore it up last night. I like the sound and stage in The French Quarter but I felt sorry for the staff. 2 people were out last night and they were trying to run the kitchen and the bar with 3 people. I waited for 25 minutes for my first beer and 30 for my second two. Wasn't gonna try to go back for a third, so picked it up when I got my second.

I wish I could have made it out last night. I haven't seen A.K.A Rudie in quite a while. I hope they play some more shows in the near future.

I truly do not like ska. There is just something about it that feels weak to me. I do respect the fans and talent that goes with it.
