damn Sean I love that clip of Slayer on Henry Rollins' show.saw it when it aired. The drum camera on Lombardo is awesome. That dude is the best metal drummer out there. he plays crazy shit and barley looks like he has to make much effort.
Re: Metal Appreciation and Metal Culture

leprechaun/troll ? McNasty that isn't cool to call you that shit....but I will say If I ever see you at the end of a rainbow with a pot of gold so help me god... I use to get "you look like gregg allman" all the time, especially when I lived in florida..at least they meant the young version that got all the chicks..now I hear it and they mean the older mid aged weathered version form the late 80's..I suppose next time it flares up again it'll be the fat bloated old version that he is now.....

the songs arent anything special, but white wizzard(sic) has one of the funniest videos ive seen in a long time. theres are part where they're in a bar and the bartender serves them what looks like whisky and they all start acting like they're poisoned. they get the bottle and peel the label off and its really apple juice.
i want more metal too, anybody have any ideas? i like the thrash/ crossover thats more melodic and technical, not what people call crossover that just sounds like heavier DRI. you know with the 1 minute songs and super fast guitars. l like riffs and solos.
the threats were a streetpunk band that had some badass trash stuff later. same with GBH, i like their later stuff better too.

Alright Chris lets see if what I have been listening too helps you.....I have been on a kick as of late on some Deep purple "Fireball" and "Who do we thing we are", also go get you some Orange Goblin....The re-release of Clutch's Blast Tyrant which is in itself a masterpiece...the re-release with a second cd of 2004 era recorded songs. and if you have not heard it The Sword's newest one Warp Riders. ...plus there is always your Noisecult cds.. .....and there will be a short 5 song one coming in about another month and a half....just in time for summer.....
