So I may be fucking retarded, but I was talking about you to a friend yesterday (free promo, your welcome.) When I had this revelation, and I got your name. It took me saying it out loud to get it. The Beat Off-icers, Ha, Like beat off, I laughed and then felt really stupid. Brilliant name you guys.

I think its more a tribute to the word Beat. Like The English Beat etc.

Yeah, it originally was something we laughed about. Kinda like we beat officers, and beat as in music, and a jerk off joke. Several meanings could be taken I guess. Thanks for the good words, guys!

We decided to roll with it. That article was done in 2006. The name isn't trademarked and we can't find a "current, gigin' band" that is using it.
