Aye, the underbelly of Nashville I suppose.
thanks for hooking us up with Jamie. Practices are so much better now that we scream south park references across the band space.
HOLY DIVER!

Please and thank you, I have ALWAYS dug your band. I really wanted to play rhythm guitar for you guys way back... alas, I live in dodge.
Well the important thing is that things work out like this, and we can gig together. Speaking of, you guys have any plans for July 6th? Would you like to?
Re: New band - The Beat Officers
No problem. I'm glad it all worked out and I think it sounds good. Looking forward to seeing you guys with AKA Rudie at the French Quarter.Rad Plaid wrote:Mike_Sims wrote:Where you been hidin pretty lady?

Damn...AKA Rudie for the first show! LUCKY DUCKS! That's one hell of kick off. Probably the best in the business as far as Nashville is concerned. Or are they? I guess the people of Nashville will have to decide this. Good luck guys/gal.Mike_Sims wrote:No problem. I'm glad it all worked out and I think it sounds good. Yes, they're fucking fantastic! Rob and I are in cahoots about a collaboration so hopefully something cool will pan out by May. I doubt that will be our first show though.... We've discussed getting one or more under our belts at local dives. I think a good move would also be to play with punk bands since there's not much of a ska following in Nash, and the two are close relatives anyway.
Re: New band - The Beat Officers
Definitely...Just start playing the muse or the boro as much as you can to get tightened up. Then when the weather warms up you guys will be tight as hell and road ready. Just start jumping on any bill that will have you it will start falling in place as long as your talking to everyone. Also maybe look on myspace for some show trades.Rad Plaid wrote:CHRIS wrote:Damn...AKA Rudie for the first show! LUCKY DUCKS! That's one hell of kick off. I posted a little something about the band over on the underbelly. I have to admit that I don't know much about Ska, but I did like your song enough to write SOMETHING about it. If you have any info about yourself you would like included feel free to PM me on here or send any mp3's you might want streamed to nashvilleunderbelly@gmail.com. GOOD LUCK!

That is too great of you... my appreciation for that is immeasurable~ You're the man, Chris.
This summer will be killer for shows. This will be the greatest free beer endeavor yet.... because that's what it's really all about, right?
