Ex Riotgun Guitarist seeks new band in a new town.

My names T-ball and I've been in Eight Equals D (singer), Scaredycat (bass), Apocalypse WOW! (guitar and vocals) and most recently Riotgun (guitar).

I just moved to Nashville to escape from L.A. like Kurt Russell.

I'm looking to play guitar in a melodic or hardcore punk band. I have great gear AND a van.
I like bands like NOFX, Small Brown Bike, Propagandhi, Bad Religion, the thumbs, Dillinger Four and on and on...

where are some clubs that I can see something OTHER than cuntry music.
I've been hanging at the springwater and it's pretty cool, but there isn't a whole lot of Rock and NO Punk rock.

In my experience Springwater is the easiest place to book a punk show. Just all the bands can't stay the fuck together. For my part Elevens Up is pretty much ready to do shows now so eventually we'll probably get off our asses and book something.

I am getting really tired of people talking to me about country artists I've never heard of and dropping names of all the people they've had "writting sessions" with. I'm fairly certain "writting session" is code for super gay sex.

if you got songs and just need musicians to fill out a band i could try to play bass or second guitar. i have great gear also and i'm not doing anything serious right now.

Funny thing is, as far as I know, Spooks never comes here or has never registered.

Every seems to know spooks on here though.....But I agree, I don't remember seeing spooks on here at all...Must be just a reader and does not post...or heard one of our asses talking about it at one point. I'll play bass If someone will let me use their bass amp, or drums if I can get a drum set.. I use to play both before......sold the drums, got a bass rig...sold the bass rig, and got another guitar rig....now, no one within a 2000 mile radius needs a guitarist... So, I am S.O.L. lately.

Yep, I heard Fabio (sickboy ^^^) was quite accomplished on both guitar and drums, if it helps.

Hell, Maybe I should sell My Wii and all of its games and all of its other stuff and get a drum set.

spooks doesn't have a computer at his house so he doesn't get on. i've got all the gear we would need if ya'll got a practice space. my brother is pissed off at me for some reason so i dont want to volunteer his house.

I don't think we've met. Like I said I'm really new in town.
In February I hung at twin kegs a lot and now I'm at the springwater every night.
it's possible we met there.

so it looks like we got wak on bass and sickboy on drums?
If you guys are down, we can take a crack at it.
is there an hourly rehearsal space in town with backline so we have some drums for sickboy?

All right, the only time I've seen you play drums was the RDW show at Foo 2 with Spooks on bass, but you said you couldn't hear anything that time so I believed ya.

i got drums. if you dont need a double bass pedal. they're set up as a 4 piece.

oh and im stuck without a car till i get it fixed. i don't know when that will be. that's supossed to be this weekend, but something new comes up every day.

Are you saying that you want to be on the drums, or are you responding to me saying that I would play drums if someone let me borrow a set ? I prefer a double kick, But I can play single as well... I could probably get a double kick on craigslist or something easily... Man, like 2 months ago Goodwill of all places had a set of generic drums for like 70 bucks... the shells were not that bad actually... It needed some new heads all around, but might of been a good investment though. should of got those things I guess.

you could play them. but i havn't even heard these songs or met anyone we're playing with yet.

lets set up a time and place to jam first and see what happens. i'm good for any afternoon or evening, but i have to get my truck fixed first and i'm going to gatlinburg next weekend. and for now thursdays i might have practice with another band.


i tried to get spooks out to twin kegs all the time. he never wanted to go. i think he thinks he's "above" nolensville rd.

Cool. I am good for weekend practice right now... I only have one car, and my wife is working on getting her license back, so she can start driving again... then my schedule should open up some.
