Looking to start a punk band with some balls! (Spookhand guitarist)

I currently play guitar for Nashville horror punk band Spookhand, but I'm looking to start something a little more regular. Weekly practice, shows whenever we can, etc.

I have a singer and I'm just looking to play some balsy melodic punk rock. So far it's turning out to be another horror punk outfit, but I'm open. Think Ramones meets the Misfits and we're off to a good start

p.s. I'm not looking to quit Spookhand by any means, but I just want to fill up my time and have some fun.

Do you have a drummer? I am off on Sundays,Mondays and Tuesdays.Whats your practice schedule? DO YOU LIKE LATE 70's hardcore punk!

Hey Chris! Thanks for the reply. We have NOT found a drummer yet.

I have a singer and bass player and had our second practice last week, with about 4 complete songs and 2 in the works. So, we're trying to hit the ground running!

Our songs are catchy as hell, straight forward punk rock. It's not horror punk like I stated, although we do have a song that has horror themes. We're open to all styles, but so far lyric wise it's like T.S.O.L. and musically a mix of Screeching Weasel and the Ramones with a little Blitzkid or Misfits thrown in, too.

If you play drums and would like to jam with us, we have the rehearsal studio at 6 this Saturday. I think Sunday nights would work but we can't this Sunday, singer has prior obligations.

Haha niiice. Well, I'd like to try out a second guitarist too. I don't really see the need for solos but a second guitarist would definitely make us sound "fuller."
